SVM Prana electric motorcycle
Day by day the demands of the electric motorcycle is increasing and many startups have come with their electric vehicles and of them is Shrivaru motors.
The Srivaru Motors (SVM) is a Coimbatore based electric vehicle startup that has launched its performance electric motorcycle PRANA in India at price of Rs 1.99 lakh.
The Prana e-bike will be available in three variants – Class, Grand and Elite out of which two of them are available in the market as of now.

The new e-bike Prana will be targetting the commuter customer segment. The e-bike will compete with the Kridn Electric bike and the upcoming Ultraviolette F77.
Prana price and finance option
The new e-bike Prana is available at the price of Rs 2.0 lakh and Rs 3.0 lakh respectively for the Grand and elite options. However the srivaru motor is currently offering a discount of up to Rs 25000 SVMCSR green card.
How to avail the discount on SVM prana
To get the discount of upto Rs 25000 on Prana e-bike, you have to plant 10 tree saplings and send the proof in the form of photos with the purchaser standing next to a planted sapling. 10 saplings can be planted in different places. Customer should take the delivery with-in 45 days of being notified about the vehicle readiness
The company has also announced attractive financing plans for the all-electric bike which turns out to be an EMI of Rs 5,200 per month and after three years It will be limited to just electricity bills
Specification of Prana electric bike
The Prana e-bike is powered by a hub-mounted Intelligent air-cooled BLDC motor which draws it power either from 4.32 kW or 7.2 kW 72-volt lithium-ion battery and the company claim s the battery life of 2000 rechargeable cycles.
The top speed of the SVM Prana is 123 kmph as per the company claim and it is comparatively good as compare to the regular petrol 150 cc bikes.
The grand variant of the Prana which is powered by the lower specs battery can give an average range of 126 km on a single charge. whereas the elite variant of the e-bike which is powered by a higher specs battery can give an average range of 225 km on a single charge.
The e-bike can do 0-60 kmph in just 4 seconds and it has four driving modes – practice, drive, sports and reverse. Practice mode is for the new riders.
The top speed of the e-bike in practice mode is capped at 45 kmph whereas the top speed in reverse mode is capped at 5 kmph.
The SVM prana has telescopic forks at front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The total weight of the bike is 165 kg.
