Bajaj Pulsar 220F BS6: As per the government norms the Bajaj auto has started upgrading their motorcycle to meet BS6(Bharat Stage VI) norms. Bajaj has not officially launched its BS6 variant of the Pulsar 220f, but Bajaj has already started distributing its BS6 motorcycle to some of the authorized bajaj dealers.
As we all know that Bajaj Pulsar 220F is one of the most sold and most loved motorcycles in its segments, therefore the bajaj auto has not changed its design except the graphics since it was launch. Bajaj is also known for bringing a thriller motorcycle in the India market.
First of all the New Pulsar 220f BS6 comes with FI (Fuel Injection) system. This is not the first time that Bajaj has come up with a Fuel injection system in Pulsar 220, in fact, the first generation of Pulsar 220 was launched with FI system but later on Bajaj changed it with Carborator system.
Surprisingly, the new Pulsar 220F BS6 does not get any graphic updates. The same thing happened with the Pulsar NS200 BS6, it also does not get any graphic updates. As far as the engine is concern, the pulsar 220’s BS6 engine is now more refined and cleaner now.
The new Pulsar 220 now equipped with an ECU and catalytic convertor. Bajaj has not disclosed the power figure of the new pulsar 220 BS6. But as we saw in other Bajaj bikes that power is a little bit dropped because of the BS6 engine. Same way we are expecting minor power drop in pulsar 220 BS6.
The BS4 Bajaj Pulsar 220F comes with 220 CC single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which produces 20.64 Bhp at 8500 rpm and 18.55 Nm torque at 7000 rpm.
The Pulsar 220f BS6 will have the same telescopic forks at the front and dual gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. For safety, it comes with Single channel ABS (Anti-lock braking system) as standard.
The new Bajaj pulsar 220 BS6 will be launched at a price of Rs 1,16,262 /-.
The new Pulsar 220 BS6 competes with the BS4 Yamaha Fazer 25, BS4 Hero Xtreme 200S and other bikes in this segment. All the bikes will be updated soon with BS6 engine as per the government norms.
