The Yamaha MT 15 is naked version of the Yamaha R15 v3 which was launched in the year 2018 India. Its chasis and engine are same as the Yamaha R15 v3 but its look is inspired by Yamaha MT 09.
Talking about the specification of the motorcycle, then the Yamaha MT 15 is powered by 155 cc 4 strokes single cylinder SOHC engine which comes with fuel injection system.
It produces 19.30 bhp and 15 Nm torque. The motorcycle comes with 6 speed gear transmission.
The Yamaha MT 15 comes with 282 mm front disk and 220 mm rear disk. And yes it also comes with ABS (anti lock braking system) which increases the safety of the motorcycle.
As it is said by the Yamaha that this motorcycle is a street fighter version of the Yamaha R15 V3 therefore it comes with 1335 mm of wheelbase and 155 mm ground clearance.
length of the motorcycle is 1965 mm and width is 800 mm. Kerb weight of the Yamaha MT 15 is 133 Kg and it has 10 liters of fuel tank.
The MT 15 comes with USD forks (india will get conventional forks) at front and monoshock at rear.
The motorcycle comes with 100/80-17 size front tyre and 140/70-17 rear tyre. Both the wheels are 17 inches tyres are tubeless.
Yamaha motor claims that the MT 15 can go upto 130 kmph. If we talk about the mileage then this motorcycle will give around 35 Kmpl in city and 45 Kmpl in highway as per the company claim.
The MT 15 comes with full LED head light and LED tail light.
