The Mercedes AMG A45 S has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 79.50 lakh (Ex-showroom).
The AMG A45 S is based on the new generation of A-Class and also the car comes with an AMG-specific radiator grille, LED headlights, and large air intakes up front.
Engine specifications: The newly launched AMG A45 S has a 1991 CC turbocharged engine that produces the max power of 421 PS at 6750 rpm and the peak torque of 500 Nm at 5000-5250 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed DCT transmission which transfers the power to all the wheels through an all-wheel-drive system.
The performance hatchback can do 0-100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds and the car can hit the top speed of 270 kmph which is electronically limited.
Suspension: The AMG A45 S has AMG suspension with frequency-selective shock absorbers and a fully variable all-wheel-drive system with AMG Torque Control.
Features: Talking about the features, The Mercedes AMG A45 S comes with a lot of features like Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist, AMG Track Pace function that is integrated into the MBUX multimedia system which can be used to analyze and improve one’s driving ability.

The car has 19-inch cross-spoke forged alloys wheels, while at the back it has split LED tail lamps, a wide bumper and quad tail pipes flanking a diffuser.
The performance hatchback comes with 6 drive modes – Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual and Race, along with it, it has a Drift mode and Race start feature.
Interior: Talking about the interior, it has port seats for the front occupants, Artico man-made leather and Dinamica microfibre upholstery, red seat belts, a head-up display, 12-speaker (590 W) Burmester sound system and the latest Mercedes infotainment system.
